Re: Dressing Up Kitty

I dont agree with people dressing their animals up although some pics do look funny and cute, it is an unecessary practice. That said I have taken one or two photo oportunities in the past.

Sarah, stupidity has no geographical boundries! Dogs don't seem to mind looking silly; most cats do !!

Re: Dressing Up Kitty

Although, I must admit I have an old black and white picture of my cat when I was about 7 years old, wearing a baby bonnet in a crib..and looking extremely cross....

Re: Dressing Up Kitty

I do think that it's daft and unnecessary in cats. I can understand dogs having little coats for when they go out in the cold or wet, as long as they have a practical purpose and not just to dress up the dog.

Having said that.........when I was in New York last year there were loads of dogs and cats dressed up and I did buy a little pink jumper just to see if I could get my cats to wear it........only for a photo, not all day. I put Abi in it the other day for about two minutes and got some really funny pics. They are on my phone, but I'll try and put them onto the PC tonight and show you.

Generally though, I think dressing up is a no, no.
