I agree with Kim & Moli on this one. You go into shops now and there are dog and cat clothes on the hangers and it makes me feel sick when you see these poor animals with clothes shoved on them making them look like a fool. Molly wouldn't let me go near her if I was armed with any kind of outfit anyway but I wouldn't want to put her through the stress of having the clothes on! I was flicking through the channels this morning to see cats in the audiance with their owners and there was a siamese looking like a waiter with it's outfit on and a lead on, the lead looked fine so it didn't run off but the clothes that's another story!!
Funny Pictures though

Re: Dressing Up Kitty

I don't think it makes the animal look a fool. I think as long as the animal doesn't mind there is no harm - there are loads of animals that love the attention and they look cute. My own cats would not like it but they do wear bandannas occasionally and don't seem to mind and my dogs definately don't mind getting dressed.

So long as the animal isn't being forced into anything I don't have a problem with it.

Cats don't need clothes - they are born with their own gorgeous fur coat!!

Re: Dressing Up Kitty

that certainly brings back memories of when i was a kid, my sis and i used to dress our cats in bonnets and tops and they would lie down in our prams and we would walk through our street and neighbours would say lets have a look at your babys thinking they were dolls, they had hell of a shock when they saw they were cats they couldnt believe it they never ran off just stayed put lol.

Notice the cats ears on some of the Pics, they seem to have been cut down, dont particularly like that, mutilation for the sake of mutilation.
Andrew, I think those cats are Scottish Folds...natural mutation that's been developed into a breed.
