Re: Cat Hair Everywhere!

Daily brushing and sticky rollers! I'm not what you could call really alert in the early morning hours; when I got to work and discovered I was wearing something hairy (theirs, not mine!), a piece of Scotch tape would do a decent job of defurring what I had on........

Re: Cat Hair Everywhere!

Sticky tape rollers and rubber gloves do it for me too.

Lakeland - love it for great ideas.

Re: Cat Hair Everywhere!

Meep - I forgot the 'rubber brush' tip in yesterdays postings. Have you seen them? They're cheap and handy and great for the home - carpets or upholstery.
I can't find them in a Lakeland catalogue but you could look at Kleeneze products 05756-89 (hand) and 075698 - 86 (broom) on about Page 41, 42,43 of their virtual catalogue (which you can see I've had bovver with, as I can't link in properly. )

Or
Here's a little gadget which does the same

Technically this probably belongs in Games, Jokes, but it's so apt for this thread that I hope the Mods don't move it ....

Re: Cat Hair Everywhere!

4 dogs and 6 cats, dad with a rottie and mum with the hairiest hound on the planet, I don't think I have been pet hair free in years!

I hoover the furniture with a weird duster attachment my dad got me for xmas one year, as he knows me so well , I use sticky rollers if I am going some place really smart, in that I mean like a wedding or a christening or something, otherwise I just leave it, there's no point as i'd end up spending half my life de-furring.

Oh and I always have throws on the furniture that can be shaken and washed regularly.

Think thats about it!

What a hilarious cartoon Eileen, very relevant!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone, they're all really useful. I've now got a velvet-style clothes brush and some sticky rollers. Will use rubber gloves on the bed sheets and curtains. I'm tempted to take pictures of the amount of fluff / hair that I collect from each room!

I think you should! I've been saving Leia's combings since December for the birds, and cannot believe what a heap of it!

Rubber gloves and a Furminator fan here. That comb is amazing and Merlin adores it.
