Are you thinking of getting one, then? None of our cats are bald yet.....
Seriously, I think it's more than worth the money! Leia has never looked so good.....

On this link you will find a video of the FURminator being used on dogs who appear to be really enjoying the grooming!

Re: The FURminator ........ is GREAT!!!

I have finally ordered a furminator and have to wait and wait because of the postal strike!! Of course I will be taking before and after pics and I can't wait to see the difference. Not sure if Denis will like it because hes not too keen on being brushed

Re: The FURminator ........ is GREAT!!!

Just reviving the thread lol.

We have a furminator for our Husky and the cat loves it so we brought a small one today from jolleyes pet superstore.

Meeko loves it, he pretends he doesn't but the purring tells me he likes it lol, Tinkerbell was scared as she hasn't been brushed much before but she realised it was nice and stood still for a few minutes. Meekos fur looks so much nicer, he has always had really awful fur and when you stroke him you litereally take clumps of fur off him without pulling, just by running your hand across his back.
Hopefully this will do wonders for him.

Glad you like the furminator Charlilou, several members here have them and we've had nothing but good reports. Most cats love being groomed with them...

Re: The FURminator ........ is GREAT!!!

Well, I've just recieved my furminator and I'm having terrible trouble. I just tried it on Alfie and he loves it but just keeps rolling over on his back so I cant get at him! Hoping I have more luck with Jake and Daisy when they appear.

Re: The FURminator ........ is GREAT!!!

I have bought one for my mutt Milo whom is a Lab x. Yep moults by the tonne each day.

I have to say I am seriously impressed. It got rid of masses of fur. So much it filled a carrier bag. Well worth the 25 quid in my opinion!

Re: The FURminator ........ is GREAT!!!

I converted my sister to using a rubber curry comb on her lab, the results are stunning and they only cost around 90p.
