How to bathe your cat (with Smudgley in mind!)

Found this link and thought it may be helpful to those of you who need to bath your cat.

http://www.xmission.com/~emailbox/how_to_bathe.htm

I quite like the laundry bag idea

I wish I'd heard of the laundry bag idea before (off to hunt for one in the morning now)

He was a superstar - as good as gold & didn't struggle one bit. His yellow bits are now white & he smells of shampoo instead of rotten eggs. Photos coming (when I get round to it)

Good link, Mags! I will still never try it; helped my mom bathe our ginger boy when I was in my teens....never again! The scars eventually faded ......

Re: How to bathe your cat (with Smudgley in mind!)

We bathed Tigger when he was like 6. He HATED it.
We had to borrow some gauntlet gloves of my grandad (thats how visious Tigger was!!!) It was so funny though, he was so small and skinny and had legs that were 3 times as long as normal n he was tryin to get away while scratchin the bath and all 4 of us (me, my mum, dad n bro).

Lets just say... we never did it again! lol
