I am so sorry to hear about Katie - its heart breaking and its an awful deciion to have to make. I have had to make that decision twice and as I have two elderly cats (nearly 18 and nealry 16) its something I dread to think about. But its the last kind thing you can do for them to put them out of suffering and you did the right thing for Katie. R I P sweet Katie. Jan x

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts, they're a great comfort.

We'll give it a few weeks and then start looking to take on a couple more rescue cats. When we do I'll tell you about them. Thanks again.
