Re: Claim to fame thread

1. I once saw Peter Winterbottoms bare backside in a Hotel, ex hubby was a county rugby player, and we were in the bar with a lot of other teams and they were all behaving badly...there were probably other England players there as well. I am only 5'4...i felt like a midget!!

2. I once spent a fortnight being companion/nanny to the grand daughters of a very famous politician and his wife. There were threats on his life at the time..so I had an armed escort to and from home each day. I once made them all fish fingers and peas for tea...and he ate his peas with a spoon. Also in the same fortnight he fell asleep on his ride on lawnmower...drove into a tree and had to be rescued

3. I was in the same class as Angela Lonsdale for a few years. We once went on a trip to France together and got very tipsy and had to sneak back into the Chateau cos we'd been out with some boys. (She fibs about her age in all the interviews she does)

Re: Claim to fame thread

JJ Williams (Welsh Rugby player of the 1970's)sorry but he has got to be the most arrogant, pig-headed guy I've ever met and that's coming from a fellow Welshie. I was only about 17, I get up to get a file from the other end of the office i was working in and he just sits at my desk, feet up on the desk thinking he rules the world. He didn't even work in the company, he just came to visit my boss. Told him to shift, he said 'Do you know who I am?' I said 'Yes but your still sitting in my seat preventing me from working so would you please move'

Re: Claim to fame thread

I used to go out with the lead french horn player of the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra).

I used to go to school with and my brother was great friends with Neil Foulds, snooker player and commentator.

My sister used to work for the BBC and in the late seventies we used to go to Top Of the Pops and go into the bar afterwards where all the 'stars' were. Have met Leo Sayer, Rod Stewart, Bernie Flint, Carl Douglas (Sang - Everybody was Kung Fu fighting) and others.

Oooh - Bernie Flint . . . used to quite fancy him when I was (very much) younger
