Peveril Castle near Sheffield

My brother and I went to Peveril Castle on a day trip today!

Got some pictures to share with you all:

As you go towards the castle, there was a model of the castle to show you what the castle would have looked like ...

The pictures got jumbled up when I was uploading them (blame photobucket!!!) so you'll have to bear with me.

What you see as you approach the castle:

The view from all round:

There was a very steep drop all round, you would NOT want to fall down that hill!!!

The castle:

The Keep (my brother looks like a ghost in two of these - the lighting wasn't very good and there was a glare from the window)

I think I've got all the pictures ...

It was!

Except when I took the photos and showed my brother the bad quality ones, he insisted on acting like a ghost

Peveril Castle, in Castleton. If you go as though you are going to Sheffield, then follow the signs for Castleton.

Be warned though, it's quite a trek up that hill!!!

Be careful of the hill there though! If you fall down that your dead meat!
