Cardiff todayWe took a leisurely trip to Cardiff by train today, so much easier than driving there..  Most of the pics were taken from the big wheel in Cathays Park.....  Looking from the bottom to top of the wheel......  Cardiff City Hall and Civic Centre.....   City Hall Clock Tower.......  Welsh National War Memorial.......  Millenium Stadium (looking into the sun).....  Looking down onto the Ice Rink.......   ......and finally Santa's Grotto in Queen's Street

Great pictures Mags. We went to Cardiff recently as my son lives in the Cathays district as he goes to Cardiff uni. I agree it is a great city. He was on the ice rink the day it opened, the lights were turned on by Rob Brydon, of Gavin & Stacey fame! Looks like you had a nice bright day too. |

At one time he would sit the chidren on his knee while he talked to them but unfortunately that is not allowed anymore due to pressures in the world |
