Just back from the vet.......................alone
The vet was quite hopeful from just looking at/examining her but I left her for blood tests and they were off the scale - creatine over 11,000 etc. So, he called me back and said he wouldn't want to treat.
I went round and held her - she purred until the very end! Sweetie.

(What's the saddest thing in the world? - the empty carrier coming from the vet )

Oh I'm so very sorry. I know you had mentally prepared for it, but human nature means we all hope against hope and try and put negative thoughts out of our minds. I'm pleased you were able to be there with her.
