The cakes (pics)Well the cakes are all (well the little one-almost) done for tomorrow! Gran is still down in swanage/dorset...and shall get home about half twelve tonight..and then tomorrow see everyone for her birthday lunch thingy..combined with the bday party (as it will be tomorrow) of one of my 3rd cousins (?) so one of g-grans many great grandchildren (i'm more special she says, as i was first ! lol) So here are the cakes..handbaked, iced and all that jazz-by me! The little one..  and then gran's one..crap picture as it was in the airtight container thing adn was too heavy to lift!   And YES it was all done by hand-from scratch by yours truly!

Thanks both...the assistance i had with the cakes (well they just sat and talked to me and fought with flour really lol) were two of my best friends, one of whom is g-grans god daughter..one of many. Im really proud actually..i was dreading it! and the little old welsh woman is totally in the dark about the cakes being made.. |
