Trouble is weirdok so since troubles got giardia i mopped the floor around the cat litter trays using bleach (diluted) this is the first time iv used this to mop the floor with since iv had him and now he is rolling all over it, i am chasing him away to stop him doing it as it cant be good for him, i just thought it was strange. is there any particular reason he is doing this

I think this is very common, cats are attracted to the smell! |

Bleach contains ammonia and the smell is similar to cat urine so it would make the problem worse not better. Your cat will be even more attracted to that same spot as puss thinks it's a wonderful smell and it's probably the reason why he is now rolling all over it... |

he does use the litter box its just that with him having the squits it goes everywhere and was disenfecting (sp) the area around the trays but that explains why he was rolling around my nice clean semi wet floor lol lol |

Yep, it's the ammonia smell. Can you find one with a citrus aroma ... cats dislike that. |

ohh i have a lemon bleach in the cupboard aswell i just used the other stuff coz it was closer to hand |

My cats used to roll on the bleachy floor too. She would also bite my hands after Id used it! |
