Re: Why why why ?

My Smudge was a talker - used to drive me nuts at times. The only time she was quiet was when she was eating or sleeping!

If there are no underlying problems then you've got a talking cat. Sympathy - but it can be funny trying to decide how many different sounds they have.

CM, one of the questions I didn't use the last time I did the quiz was vocal sounds: dogs have about 10, cats about 100 !

Re: Why why why ?

My Onyx was a black moggy and when she got to trust me she'd meet me at the bus stop and walk home with me, telling me all about her day, non-stop!

Many kittens from a Siamese x moggy cross are black ... I suspect she was.

Re: Why why why ?

I must say I quite like it, although probably not if I had a cat talking to me all the time! Once Pip and I were having a conversation (in cat) in the hall and a visitor heard and said "Were you talking to your cat?" - she is a cat person, luckily!

Re: Why why why ?

All of which reminds me of a rather bad joke:

Little boy was almost 2 years and had never spoken a word; his parents were terrribly worried about it. Until one day at breakfast he suddenly said "This oatmeal is cold!"

His Mom and Dad were amazed and delighted and asked him why he had never spoken before, to which he replied "There's been nothing to complain about until now"

...said it was a bad joke

Dylan can talk the hind leg off a donkey

Maybe you've just got a very talkative cat
