steam cleaners

Can anyone reccomend a good hand held steam cleaner.
We have travertine tiles in the bathroom which have become dreadfuly mouldy. Thinking of buying a steam cleaner to see if we can get rid.
Have seen a vax grime buster one which has very mixed reviews

Re: steam cleaners

I don't have one but do also have my eye on getting one as we have a lot of hard floors in the house. Would be interested in any recommendations as well.

Re: steam cleaners

Shelley, I love my steam cleaner but it does everything from windows to floors and is also a hand held. Having said that, although it is excellent for my vinyl and also laminate floors I do find the hand-held function a bit tricky, I feel I need another hand. I'm trying to get my mind around designing a little harness idea for it.

I did research steam cleaners in general while deciding to go for the H2O - there are plenty of very useful user reviews online for most of the models I looked at. Try the Argos website.

Re: steam cleaners

we have bought a Vax Grime buster hand held steamer.
It looks like it will do the job in the bathroom although it's going to take some time. It's quite theraputic to see all the gunge it brings off, yes i know i need to get a life, lol
