You're Dutch? My goodness. So am I! Well, half Dutch, half Belgian... Grew up in Anderlecht

Re: Back home! OT, on-topic, eight photos.

I lived in the Netherlands for nine years, not born there though. Studied at the University of Amsterdam, among other things. Littlest brother lives in Brussels with his wife and kids, so have opportunity to practice at times. En route, of course. The wee ones speak French, mostly. (Does that make them "Oui" ones? Some day I'll cure my affliction of bad puns, but it will probably be a lethal cure.)

Ah, but Hreow - multilingual puns are the best ones

So true Snoof. Until you have to explain to someone why you're suddenly laughing, that is. : /

Ah, see, I've surrounded myself with people who wish they spoke more languages, so when I do that they get really happy about it

Great pictures!

Cat people always find cats, wherever they are in the world.

It is so wonderful to be in a country as a 'guest/visitor' rather than a tourist - you see and understand so much more.

Keep up the multilingual puns; can't guarantee to understand them all. Am happy to egg you on now, and call un oeuf when it's gone too far

Re: Back home! OT, on-topic, eight photos.

I always feel terrible because I'm really awful at puns I get them, I'm just really bad at making them. In English, at least I can say, "Well it's my third language!" but when we're talking about multilingual puns it's an abject failing in my development
