Imaginary friends

Don't know what made me remember my sister when she was little. She had a 'dog' and the fuss she caused making sure the dog (it never did have a name) got everything it needed. I remember an incident on a bus where the dog was on the seat beside her and she wouldn't let anyone else sit there!

Have you, or your children, had invisible playmates!

Not me - just the little voices in my head........

Re: Imaginary friends

I didn't have any imaginary friends . . . not that I can remember anyway. I had plenty of imaginary BOYfriends . . . sad but true

Domi is still too young but I have a feeling he has a very fertile imagination so we may see a 'friend' or two in the future

BM - that is a very strange thing for your daughter to say. Has she maybe seen a TV programme to prompt this sad story or do you think she has some kind of ESP??

Re: Imaginary friends

I didnt have any pretend friends but I did have pretend names!

I used to get fed up with Jacqueline, so I told people my name was Pamela or rosebud until my Dad started calling me greenfly

Oh and I never spoke until I was two! difficult to believe I know but seemingly my brother spoke for me so I didnt have too.
