Transport Volunteers for Bengal Cat Rescue


This thread is for anyone who is willing to offer their services to transporting cats.

Do you have a crate and if so, what size: 2 individual cat baskets and 1 large, 1 metal dog size crate

Max distance: Reasonable
Do you have crate: 2 cat transporters 1 sml 1 larger
What car: Sm people carrier
Any experience: Just my own cats and dogs

Days available: Any

Maximum distance willing to travel: 100 miles

Do you have a crate and if so, what size: 2 cat baskets, 1 medium sized, 1 large

What car do you have: Peugeot 206 hatchback

Have you any experience of transporting cats: Only my own 5 cats & my dog, Labrador X

Days available: Most but pref Weekends
Maximum distance willing to travel: Down to Perthshire
Do you have a crate and if so, what size: We have Cush Cages, Large, medium and Small cat boxes as well as 2 small and 4 medium dog crates (Jack Russell and Border Collie sized)
What car do you have: Freelander and Ford Focus - both hold 8 cat boxes and 2 dogs!
Have you any experience of transporting cats: Yes we moved our own then 37 cats and 2 dogs 150 milesd 3 years ago - we now have more cts and have several more mainly ferals so are used to the need for the relaxed journeys

Approximate location: Edinburgh
Days available: Various as work shift pattern
Maximum distance willing to travel: Can go as far as Coventry every 3rd weekend
Do you have a crate and if so, what size: Have a single cat Large wire crate plus normal carriers
What car do you have: Mazda MX6 can fold down back seats but can safely transport 2 with room between cages
Have you any experience of transporting cats: Yes I have moved with 4 cats 3 times
