Re: Shock

Truffles went through the night very wellI slept on the chair by her pen just in case. Her face is weeping at the moment and she is also losing fluid from her nostrils.Shes now back in vets having a drain put in as the vets dont want a build up.They were hopeing not to have to do this but i think when she paniced in the vets she did more damage. She will be back in the next hour

Re: Shock

Glad the night went ok Sam.
Her poor little face must be quite sore, let's hope it will heal quickly. Seems like she trusts you looking after her more than the vet!

Re: Shock

shes been home just about an hour now.Very groggy but happy, although she dosnt like the drain. She has to wear a collar to stop her rubbing it.She looks like shes wearing a lamp shade bless her. Will take it off her when she comes out and when she eats

Re: Shock

she seems happy enough and ive just offered her some dinner which she is tucking into. Will be glad when the drip is gone as its quite hard to work around.

I had a phone call earlier asking if i was ready to take on another foster.Ive turned it down and have asked them to give me a few months break. This year has been so hard plus i also have my own which need me and to be honest i could do with a break.Truffles is enough to worry about with out adding to it.

Re: Shock

Oh what a time she's having. I don't blame you for wanting a rest plus Truffles is going to need your tlc for a while longer

Re: Shock

Golly Sam, as if you haven't got enough on your plate at the moment!

You must be utterly exhausted what with the months of worry and care you gave to Little Ted - think of yourself for once or you'll get yourself too tired to look after any animal.
