Wow !! what a terrific looking cat. Tree climbing always scares me. Jason went about 50 ft up when he was 7 months old, got scared, couldn't get back down so kept on climbing up because that's the way the claws work!!! Once we'd got him down (mainly just by ignoring him!) we wrapped garden mesh around the trunk to stop him going higher than about 6 ft. So far it's worked. Rover looks perfectly at home in his tree. King of all he surveys.  |

Brilliant piccies Hreow!!! I have decided not to harness train my meezers and we are currently building an outdoor enclosed run for them. I really admire you for giving Rover so much freedom  |

I'd have a run too, if it was our garden, not a shared one. It's scary letting him have his freedom, but it has worked so far. As long as the recall works (if not immediately, he's still a cat) and he seems to feel safe with me around, it's a calculated risk I'm willing to take. |

We're going camping next weekend and Better Half has said he refuses to share a tent with a mad cat (former is a very light sleeper and the latter a face-hugger - not ideal), so Rover's off to be spoiled by friends over the weekend. Next episode when next I remember to take the camera, I suppose. |

No, more likely blue from cyanosis, rather than cold.  He gives lovely hugs every morning and most evenings and I can't say I mind a huggy cat in the least. Would just be useful if he slept next to our faces, rather than on. |
