Just to get rid of the banner.....

That promises to go away if I post this!

Hi,

I have been pursaded by the resident felines that it is unfair that I am only a member of Dogsey and should join Catsey as well (particularly as the dogs aren't even allowed upstairs to the computer as that's in cat territory!)

I grew up having cats at home and worked as a volunteer at Sheffield Cat Shelter whist i was at school. For a while after leaving home the dogs took over, but last year after moving to my own house i decided it was definately time for a cat again.

So, thanks to some friends, Gina and Hugo, who are mother and son Sphynx came to join me at Easter this year. Hugo was a singleton kitten and at six months now has still not grown up (and yes, despite being spayed his mother is still occasionally letting him suckle).

i apparently have to post this now as Hugo has decided that my hands would be much better employed stroking him - or he is going to attack them as the move accross the keyboard.

Kate

Hello and welcome to Catsey. My cats don't allow the dog upstairs either, except for when he needs a bath and then they snigger at him!

Hi Kate - thanks for the great introduction to yourself and Gina & Hugo. I love Sphynx cats and find them fascinating so would very much like to see pics and hear more about them. My 3 cats are the total opposite - about as hairy as you can get LOL!
