Mines June as well! Didnt have a clue til just now. Quite like pearls and dont know what a moonstone looks like. Any ideas?

Think moonstone is another name for opal.
Mine is turquise. I quite like it, set in silver.

No, they're two different stones; opal is more expensive, but they're both beautiful. Opal is supposed to be unlucky to wear if it's not your birthstone. I love moonstones, have a pretty pair of drop earrings. Futher on in the thread, Mags has posted a picture of moonstone.
