Re: scarlott and moth

when they both dropped there coats it was hard, you could see hair flying every where and most of the time i had some in my mouth (even first thing in the morning before i had even seen them). i brush them every few days and that seams ok for now in the winter it will have to be every day

Re: scarlott and moth

I usually brush Cassie every day this time of the year as it helps to get the loose hair out quickly for them and hopefully the risk of hairballs is lessened....

Re: scarlott and moth

they are so loving Pat, they dont take long to get used to other animlas, they like to follow you but not as bad as other breeders. they would rather sit next to you rather than on you although they do like a hug now and again. they are every clever. Scarlott dont do any tricks (although i think she could if i tried) but if i say something to her then she seams to know what i mean, things like get out of that window your not going out lol. they are a breed that love to be out and that is in all weather. offten she sits in an open window when it is raining
i dont let mine out but that is only as i they are going to be bred from and the fact that scarlott is such a nice colour i think some1 would walk off with her

Re: scarlott and moth

Thtas the problem Nat, my lot are only out when I am at home nd the back doors open..They don't get out after 7 at night...Like you it would worry me someone might pinch them..Scarlott is such an unusual colour, someone might just lift her...I live right out in the country, so it's more foxes and the like that worry me, they are never out at night..
