HI is the litter tray in a quiet private spot. most cats dont like to be seen whilst having a poo. Mine when she had one would quite happily use the tray facing out for a pee, but would always face the wall to poo, a bit like if i cant see you you cant see me.

Mine too with the poo thing!!!

About as far into the corner as they can go . . . and staring upwards too

How far from the tray is he pooing? One of mine specialises in having her bum hanging out so SHE is in the litter tray but the results aren't! I ended up with a lot of newspaper in front of the tray. She alsways pees inside and means well!

Ok I think my Kendra has read your post, after my replying to it yesterday she has done exactly the same thing. Now I know why she jumps up to me when Im using the computer.
