What great fun and great photos, Shelley! Doesn't Malaika look as if she's really enjoying herself. Lovely that they can all play together ..... not sure about that mud though! Isn't it odd that she doesn't like the rain, but doesn't mind the water?

She is becoming a smasher, so many hounds are not allowed off lead due to poor recall - excellent Malika can enjoy play dates off lead.

Quite true Kazz, some people that i know
with Basenjis never ever let them off so i think we are doing fine.
We are very careful where we let her off, i'm only realy happy if i know the other dogs are friendly.
These are a great crowd of people and it was by chance i discovered them.
Her recall is great if there are no Dogs around but once she has spotted one you can forget it

She's very selective Angie. We still have real problems persuading her to go into the garden if it's raining, we can force her out but not to perform
When she's out i think she's in play mode and doesn't mind the rain and likes to paddle. It's funny though that once her friends have gone she seems to notice she's wet then and franticaly tries to lick herself dry She's a fascinating little creature
