Introducing myself and my cat

Heard about Catsey on Dogsey! Just adopted a little female ginger and white cat who has had a very bad experience but who is now safe with me and my little dog.

Got her two days ago when her two surviving kittens were 6 wks old. A local vet gave them shelter until she weaned the kittens. Hopefully they won't have too much trouble finding homes.

Alfi has to go back to the vet on Friday for stitches out, spaying and microchipping.

Re: Introducing myself and my cat

Thank you! I was beginning to think I was wandering about in here all on my own!

It's not exactly a 'busy' forum is it!

Alfi hasn't been lucky up to yet. She was used as target practice by low life scum.

Hopefully she will never know fear or pain again from now on in.

Re: Introducing myself and my cat

hello Tang and Alfi, welcome to catsey. We are small but perfectly formed, lol.
Good on you taking the adult cat as the kittens should find homes easier.
I hope all goes well for Alfi at the vets, poor girl deserves a great life from now on.
Catsey can be quiet sometimes, much quieter than dogsey, however there is usualy a daily thread which is great for keeping in touch.
I have to admit to not being able to cope with the sheer size of dogsey, unfortunately.

Re: Introducing myself and my cat

Good Evening Tang "little" Bella and now Alfi from me myself and my shadow "Big" Bella
I wondered if you would pop over here or not we are a smaller site than dogsey but we are friendly and we have a daily we have regular members who sometimes are not seen for months on end but the motto here is all roads lead to catsey.

We have people like myself who are now catless but I find this a friendlier and easier to manage site than dogsey we kinda say what we think and then hug and move on rarely hold grudges or bricks to lob.

Sometimes you can wander around on your own or so it seems then up pops someone and hey presto we are two or three. You need to stick it out we are friendly but not clicky.

P.S You can still PM on this site.

Hello Tang and Alfi a warm welcome to Catsey...

Poor Alfi, it amazes me how some people can be so cruel to animals. I hope she soon settles in with you and can begin to enjoy her life without fear.
