Good luck Jac . . . I so hope they'll be able to help and that you get a sympathetic ear . . . have you thought about mentioning that you/Ceilidh might actually be in physical danger due to this jerk's (step-son's) behaviour? Verbal threats are as good as physical ones . . . It might galvanize them into action?

We have had snow all day, the roads are really bad!!Dogs loved their walk though, they love snow!!
