Frankenkitty (not for the squeamish)!

She finally dozed off in her favourite position so we were evil and took several pics It looks a bit angrier than it was this morning but that's not really surprising, hopefully the antibiotics will keep any infection at bay.

Frankenkitty dozing!

I can't believe how unbothered she is about it Thankfully Fizz has settled down a bit more now too.

Awwww poor baby, trying to find a comfy speck. Looks very neat even though it's a bit raw. Big 'get better soon' cuddles

Poor sweetheart - wonder what on earth she caught herself on? Hope it all heals up well.

Wow, those look like metal staples, not stitches! Poor Bubbles, hope she sleeps well (and you all too!), and that Fizz is settled also. Bubbles has such a cute fat little tummy!

Poor baby! I hope she's better soon. Give her a gentle hug from me.

They are indeed metal staples and not stitches They decided to try the surgical staples because they can be done quickly whereas with stitches she would have had to be put under a general. Poor baby was so good and just let them do it, much like when they shaved and cleaned her.

Any other time and she would have had your hand off

Her tummy is soooo cute and fluffy, you just want to tickle it and she hates it

Thanks everyone for your hugs for her She is fine today and the area looks much less angry. She is still grumpy at not being allowed out but accepts tuna as compensation Mind you, we are hiding her antibiotics in it but shhh don't tell her

They stay in for 7-10 days and were put in yesterday morning.

She has an appointment tomorrow morning before we leave to have them checked and hopefully everything will be fine!

Lisa the petsitter just came round and met the girls and they like her a lot - usually they do a disappearing act whenever anyone new comes in but they both went up for fuss Feeling MUCH relieved!
