My Balie used to get bald spots quite a lot. He's a nervous cat and stresses easily. They weren't enflamed or anything, just areas of skin with no fur (usually on the back of his neck)!

Thank you all. I am going to treat him again today just to be sure. Also, no nothing has changed for him he is otherwise very contented.

My Bentley is allergic to ................. well we don't know. He had some patches, the vet said flea allergy, I said I don't think so, the vet looked for fleas, made himself sneeze like crazy ruffling Bentley's fur but found no fleas or flea-dirt.
So, he's diagnosed with an allergy, we don't know what it is, and a steoid injection now and again does the trick.
If it continues to the winter (we are assuming it's like a hay fever) he may need a daily low dose steroid pill.
But he's fine.
