Chester boy, a message to you. If ya don't realise what a wonderful home you had and walked out on, you is a fool boy!
DM, loved hearing his story. He's a lovely looking boy. I have a good feeling that he's going to return to you but I can see that you have given him a good start in what ever he has to face in life. We can't do more for our 'kids' than that! ((hugs))

Re: Gone ... and not forgotten

DM what handsome boy... he has a real "smiley" face... I hope with all my heart that he comes back to you..i had a quick look at your tribute earlier today and was going to leave you a message and then the internet crashed... so i went down the shops to get some groceries.. and we walked past the pet shop...I always stop and have a look at the kittens in there...even though i would never buy a pet shop cat when there are cats and kittens waiting to be claimed in shelters.... but there were 2 ginger kittens in there today... rolling around and having a wonderful time... and i straight away thought of Chester...I hope that means that he will come back to you soon...
Take care

I had just joined when the search was on for the perfect ginger boy ...and you found him. Like everyone else here I'm praying for a happy ending, or at worst, an answer. (((hugs)))

I so love the picture of Chester lying on his back, smile on his face and not a care in the world. That picture always makes me smile too.

Re: Gone ... and not forgotten

A ginger cat just peeped through the hedge.
I knew it wasn't Chess, but Bentley went towards it and Dinah went towards it ... so it backed off. I shut Dinah in and called Chess? Boys, boys, boys? but nothing. I knew it was a neighbour I've seen a few times, a little paler than Chester.
Oh, but it made my heart leap, or maybe my stomach turn over .. gave me quite a start anyway.
The cat flap will be on 'Come in but you can't go out' as it has been for the last 12 days.
But it wasn't him.
