Some garden pics

As I don't have any tubs or baskets to share, thought I'd show the geraniums on the front porch steps and six of the amaryllis Summering outside .....

Re: Some garden pics

The geraniums look lovely on your steps, Eileen and I notice there are loads of buds yet to break on them

Seeing your amaryllis reminds me that I must put mine outdoors too, hopefully they will flower again as yours do!

Re: Some garden pics

Thanks, Mags. That seems to be a good location for mine, a combination of sun and filtered shade. The geranium at the foot of the steps looks yellow in that pic but it's one of the orange ones I started from seed last year. That's a yellow mini dahlia in the top[ square pot.

Re: Some garden pics

Thanks, Shelley and Tink That seems to be very common in my neighborhood and around the City, whereas hanging baskets and beautiful tubs seem to be more popular in the UK. Whatever, it's nice to see flowers especially after that horrid Winter!.

Re: Some garden pics

When I lived at home, we had seven steps leading up to the front door and my Mum always put a plant pot on each step ..... your pic reminded me of that, Eileen.

Re: Some garden pics

How bright and inviting - I do think geraniums do well and look continental - they do love the bright red ones in France! Mine still have no buds on them, but seem to be growing on nicely.
