Mad Christmas eve dash!

Wish me luck! I'm off to town on a last minute dash, do it every year (I must be crazy!).

Anyone else the same?

Good luck girls! Thankfully I'm not . . . although OH has just had to go in to get a pad for his glasses as he was cleaning them a bit too vigoursly and the plastic thing that sits the glasses on your nose has come adrift

NO!!! I plan my shopping for months in advance and get a few bits every week - I also do all my shopping ONLINE so I do not have to see a shop in December.

YOU MUST BE MAD!!

Re: Mad Christmas eve dash!

Oh I was in Sainsbury's at 7.00am this morning, with my sister and it was lovely hardly any one there, and have popped into Asda to get the friends DVDseries 2.....as they are half the price of the price of everywhere else...and no queues there either.
Back at Di's at 8.00am and having a coffee. Shopping finished, its a lovely day too.
Fetched the Turkey....it looks gorgeous, well pleased.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS everyone.

I got home and ran the rubbish round to the skip, and now had breakfast. All sorted. But may for the hell of it pop out in a while...

Very Happy Christmas everyone.

Re: Mad Christmas eve dash!

was at Asda at 7.15 this morning, lovely and quiet. Did my normal weekly shop with a few 'luxuries' for tomorrow and boxing day. Popped over to Lidls (one opened here two weeks ago lol) to pick up a few last minute things for Robert and was back home by 8.30, all done and dusted. just making my soups and coleslaw now,a nd then off to see all the Christmas lights when it gets dark.
