Poor Jake - no wonder he was under the weather. That must have hurt him. Glad it's been cleaned out and hope the antibs do their job swiftly.

Is he neutered?
Neutering may help to stop his fighting,or perhaps he could be an indoor cat.

My 3 cats ,all neutered males are indoor cats-they are happy and healthy-2 are aged 14 now and I know they are SAFE.

A cat harness may give him a bit of freedom and a chance to be outdoors -I used 1 on 1 of mine and he was quite happy to come back indoors-especially as it was just before his tea time.
