Lovely to see your primroses, daffodils and camellias! You're so far ahead of us! My daffodils are up maybe 6 inches now, it's been so cold. Thanks for posting those pics to cheer me up on a cold Winter day!

Only today I noticed primula poking their heads out from under a fern! Lovely pictures Mags.

I know that groundhog went back into his burrow dandysmom, but when are those 6 extra weeks up - can't be TOO long now surely???

Re: Spring is getting closer

Angie, the groundhog's six more weeks of Winter should end about March 15th! And can't get here to soon for me! St. Patrick's Day is traditional for seed starting indoors, my seeds have been ordered and I'm just waiting to start...then comes the daily ritual of moving 20 some pots from the South window to the West window every day to get maximum sunshine...and then back again! But I love it..

Ah so you should see an improvement in the temperature, or at least in light levels, in a couple of weeks dandysmom - hang on in there!

The light levels are great now: sunset at almost 6 pm now instead of the low point of 4:46! Temps should be a high of 50 and a low of 30, but it's been a cold month. And yes, I am sort of a weather buff
