Hello from James

Hello

New member James here. I am a Scot, currently living in England. Cats have been part of my life for ever and have brought me great joy and companionship. It is no coincidence that my other half was chosen partly because she loves cats too

I am a scientist (not as stuffy as that sounds!) and although cats are not really my speciality, I am interested in their genetic makeup and extra-sensory abilities.

We lost our very special, feral tabby girl, Dunkley, a few years ago at the age of 16. She is greatly missed, but will always be a part of our lives. On the recent anniversary of her passing, we planted a Bonsai tree in her memory. Soon to join our family is a rescue puss - a tabby female who will (we hope) enjoy more than her fair share of the love and care she has hitherto been denied.

Hi and welcome, James! That's touching about planting the bonsai in Dunkley's memory: I did that for my well loved little Pura boy when he passed. I look forward to chatting and hearing about your soon to be new rescue girl. And be interested in your thoughts on cats and ESP!

Look forward to hearing about your rescue cat to be! Kizzy (torbie pictured above) is a rescue girl with me by the grace of a couple of Catsey CP members. She is the best girl in the whole world, IMO of course!
