Re: Tell me something

The slug is a wimp compared to the Snail, the snail is the most hardcore of all slimey nasties, its the front line of the ARMY, the 'shell' as some people call it is actually a helmet, it stops attackers getting to the gooey bit!

Its an army, the slugs are just privates and the Helmet monsters AKA Snails are the front line, dont they teach you guys anything in schools!?

But yeah I agree with Elaine they are pretty useless, what do they do other than eat out plants, and leave nasty snot like trails down your walls?!

And where do they get the energy from to mate for 4 to 12 hours at a time?

Re: Tell me something

Here's another interesting fact Elaine ..........

Snails are mobile creatures and can travel a mile in about fifteen days (although they don't). Slugs are almost twice as fast, able to travel the same distance in eight days. In your garden, a snail may travel a hundred feet for a meal.
