Friday

Morning all.
CS hope the interview goes well, whatever you decide to wear.
Pamela i hope you had a better night with Barney and that you hear about your interview soon.
Angie is it a relief to have handed your calligraphy in. You mentioned transcription work, i thought you had retired ?
I have been off work this week so caught up with friends and had a day out in Kendal on tuesday.
Just been for a walk around the nature reserves with the dogs, not easy when Squirrels keep appearing and whipping Kwame up,lol.
Need to get some things ready for the doll fair in two weeks, so i will be brushing hair, cleaning and making felt outfits for my naked trolls

Re: Friday

Afternoon Shelley - I am SO GLAD those trolls will have clothes, poor lovies in this cold weather, still I suppose they are used to it!!!

Yes, it is a relief to have handed my work in this morning .... now to think of what to do next, luckily no shortage of ideas! I will be retiring at the end of this financial year and hopefully the client I have left will be able to make alternative arrangements but I don't feel I can leave her in the lurch if she needs work done after April, so we may have to come to a non-monetary arrangement!

I am transcribing this afternoon - and hope everyone else is somewhere warm and having a good day!

Re: Friday

Afternoon all. Quiet day here. Good thoughts to CS and Pamela regarding interviews, scary things! Would love to see pics of the trolls Shelley, preferably dressed.

Just watching coast about The Clearances and how the Scots ended up in Nova Scotia. These are OH's forebears, his Grandfather came from New Brunswick. Would love to go to Canada but we have far too many animals.

Even though OH's Grandfather was 4th generation Canadian, he still spoke with a Scottish accent.

Squirrels are on Gypsy's Most Wanted list, she goes berserk to get at them, especially when they are up trees waving their tails at her.

Just seen your work Angie, stunning.

Keep warm and dry folks, lots of strokes to furry people.

Re: Friday

Evening everyone. Thanks for your thoughts today. Didn't get the job yet again unfortunately. Had a bit of a strop at my manager as I felt she was a bit patronising when she spoke to me about it. Forgot to bite my tongue!!

Barney had a much better night last night.

I'm heading home and going out for dinner tonight.

Angie hope your transcribing went well,
FM, that's interesting about your grandfather
SShelley, would love to hear more about trolls

Hi all, snap Pamela, I didn't get the job either. I wouldn't worry about the strop- if you only do it very occasionally it can be quite effective!

Re: Friday

sorry CS and Pamela you didn't get the jobs.
Glad you had a better night with Barney, enjoy your meal.
Will try and post pics of the trolls tomorrow, it has been rather a challenge to dress the nakeds , for someone who can't sew.
