ut oh...

it's starting.
i just went to put a load of laundry in the wash, i had gathered up all the bedding from the ferret room..put my settings and turned the knob...NOTHING.
i think our pipes are frozen. our washer and dryer are located out in the garage, same place where the pipes burst last year
trying to get ahold of OH at work but keep getting voicemail...i suppose there's nothing i can do about it. i should just calm down as it's 15 degrees with a wind chill of zero and i suppose nothing would happen till it becomes above freezing and it starts to melt...right?

so much for my cleaning day

Re: ut oh...

thanks! he hasn't called back yet but he's due home in an hour..i guess there's nothing really i can do. oh well. the weasels will be thrilled at the new look of their room, LOL. (anything new is exciting)
i guess i could just take everything out and put it back..i really don't want to drive to a laundromat in this weather..argh!
i am grateful though at least our other pipes are working for now (inside the house). phew for that *sigh of relief*

Re: ut oh...

oh tink - just what you don't need. Hope by now you have managed to get some kind of solution.

As you said - at least the guys will have had a 'new' room to play in for a while!

Good luck

Re: ut oh...

Very sorry to hear Tink - don't know what I'd do without my washing machine and dryer.
