Re: Excessive bank charges - anybody going to complain to their bank?

That didn't half make me chuckle, I'm half wishing I'd held out for all my claim and gone to court now!!!

Good isn't it!!!! I had a work colleague get confirmation through today that her claim is going to be paid, so the banks are still paying out. Anybody wanting to claim must realise that the banks cannot stop these claims, only the courts can put stays on them which you can have removed with the correct letter.

Well, I've written to the bank accepting their offer When they settle the claim, I'll contact the court to stop the court action against them.

Emma, any idea how I go about that?

It's quite a substantial amount that we have been offered. Once I have it in my possesion, I'll let you all know just how much

Fran when you have the money you just need to write to the court stating the claim number and saying that the matter is now resolved. I can dig you out a letter at the time if need be.

I think Fran has done very well!!!

We are about to send in the Allocation Questionnaire for our claim against Abbey. Must admit I am a bit nervous after the latest news.

Thank you Emma...I will be grateful for the letter!

I have to say that I could not have done any of this without Emma's help and support, her patience with me when I didn't know what I was doing and all the time out she has given to helping me send the letters, work out the claim amounts and fill in the court papers. So I would like to say a very big THANK YOU Emma, you are one in a million

Thanks Fran, that means a lot.

Well, the AQ is a form I have to fill in and send back to the court!!!! I will look at the CAG forum tomorrow (too late now!) and give you the proper explanation of its purpose.
