Very Urgent Mouse Question!

I have a little mouse trapped in the window well of my basement. It has almost vertical sides. Does anyone know if mice can calmber up verticals as I have had one attempt at catching this little fella but he hides under the cobbles I have there and I am scared of standing on him.

Plan b (just executed) is to put a plank of wood into the footwell to allow the mouse to climb out . . . . pics of all this later when I have time to upload images

Re: Very Urgent Mouse Question!

OK . . . plan b worked!!! Here is a pic of the little fella. One worry is however, that I forgot to cover over a hole that is just to the right of the top of the plank of wood, and didn't get into the garden in time to see if mouse fell down the hole or ran off. There is a rope dangling down the hole now incase mouse fell down to enable it to climb out again

I have got pictures of him climbing out but haven't time to upload them at the moment . . .

What a little sweetie (as long as he's outside!). I was going to suggest a pices of string when I saw the first post but am glad you worked it out yourself.
