Domino - First Pics x

Well, what a night !

Domino finally stopped grumbling and hissing around 3.30 a.m. this morning

So far, he has escaped out of the back door sat on the wall hissing and grumbling at me, panic I thought ! but I threw a blanket over the little darling and brought him back inside !

He then decided it might be good during the early hours of this morning to sit on my little window ledge dangling out trying to escape again! We soon put an end to that one ! nowhere for him to land except the garden and that would of been too far for his little legs !

He then decided the top of my wardrobe may be fun, but not before leaving me a little No. 2 pressy on my dresser lol !

There he stayed all night and we all finally got some sleep !

This morning I fed him on top of the wardrobe, I was greated with yet more grumbles lol, not long after he came downstairs with wet whiskers and lips, I am guessing he drank from the bowl upstairs, Ive not checked the food situation up there yet !

He let me smooth him but only a quick go, he then looked at me as if to say......thats your lot ! and grumbled more !

Hes back upstairs, I managed to grab the 2 following pics.

Hes a gorgous boy, I really hope he sees this as his home soon x

Oh Julie, he's adorable!!! He's been through such a shake-up poor love, he's bound to be very unsettled for a while.

But cats are resiliant and with all the love you and your family are going to shower on him, I sure he'll come round in time

He's lovely Sweet, poor boy must wonder what has happened to him

I think if you just talked to him quietly and let him get used to your voice first, he may start to learn to trust you and let you smooth him....

I hope he settles soon...

Oh he's nice - I'd imagined him as b&w, rather than w&b. Hope he settles soon - what a shame they don't understand what we say.

Re: Domino - First Pics x

I can easily see why the grumbling and "presents" are well worth it. Give him space to retain his dignity and I'm sure he'll get used to the idea of owning you all. ^^
