A real Christmas tree, the smell and presence of it is second to none. Christmas is not Christmas without a real tree

A little tree ornament, made by my son when he was in Infants School. It's the shape of a Christmas stocking, made of green felt and has braid and sequins glued on it. (he's 30 now)

Mine are some tree ornaments - on Mom and Dad's tree there are three of them and apparently we 3 children choose one each when we were tiny...Awwwwww...

Re: A favourite Chistmas Item

It's pathetic really, but my mum passed on to me (she wanted rid of them lol) some old plastic christmas snowglobes that I remembered coming out every Christmas when I was a child. You can hardly see the figures inside as the plastic has almost gone opaque, but to me it isn't Christmas until they come out of their box!!

The manger and figurines: it's very old and a bit battered now, but it was part of my childhood and comes out every Christmas even if I don't have a tree.

Re: A favourite Chistmas Item

I still bring out two manger cut-outs that my twins made in their Infant School, it was their second christmas at school and they still mean such a lot to me today..

Another special is a tree decoration that we bought in Disney World, Orlando on their 15th anniversary. It's made of glass and Mickey is on one side and Minnie on the other ........ both are dressed in Santa and Mrs Santa outfits.. Happy memories!
