Re: Marvellous Monday

It's another beautiful day here, too Not long been back from the Garden Centre and not surprisingly they said they had done a roaring trade over the weekend.

Kazz, what better way to rest up than outdoors on a nice sunny day ....... that's an extra tonic for you!

Yola, I don't envy you working indoors during this lovely weather

Have a great day all!

Re: Marvellous Monday

Lovely day here too! Two loads of washing out on the line and there is a nice breeze to dry it. It is very hot and I've been damping down the greenhouse around mid-day. Tomatoes are loving the warmth and have grown amazingly since last Friday.

Have to think of some Qs for Wednesday's quiz but I am planning a bit of a relax with a book this afternoon if nothing else comes up. I do not envy you Yola - mind you I have done my share of working during hot weather in the past.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Marvellous Monday

Poor old OH got bitten by flying beasties yesterday in the garden. He always reacts badly and now has blistered/ weeping lumps on his legs. He's taking Piriton but why didn't the silly man use the deterrent spray before he went out? He's used it today though before going out . Lesson learnt?

Another beautiful day, no clouds at all. It's lovely being able to have all the windows open again! So glad I'm not working any more.

Re: Marvellous Monday

Not lovely here: a duplicate of yesterday's cool cloudy day, 18 C (54 F); clouds hanging tough with the East wind. But not raining. Relief in the form of sun and warmer tomorrow, though. Just the usual market run; only news is I think I have the first tomato set!

Yola, it's hard working inside on a lovely day; I agree with MrsH that retirement is better! Sorry to hear of hubby's mosquito bites, I get a bad reaction like that too. Kazz, I hope you really relax and enjoy your lovely garden.

Keep the vibes coming for Posh ......

Normal day for me, work and then went to the gym 48 mins continious running and then another 12 mins after some walking. Managed 10k in the end - took me just under 80 mins.
