Halloween thursday

Morning all, have you got your goodies for the trick or treaters or do you think them a nuisance like my hubby ?
Doctors this morning with various issues, the joys of ageing I guess, lol.
Work this afternoon.

Re: Halloween thursday

Bit of a shocking appointment, follow up for high blood pressure, need to up the medication, bordering on diabetes but haven't got it.
Kidney function way down.
Various tests at docs then repeat blood test and chest x-ray at hospital.
Going to need an urgent kidney scan.
I felt ok before I went

Oh Shelley - what a worry! I’ve had hypertension for a few years now but am worried my sedentary lifestyle isn’t doing me any favours and sorting up problems for the future.

I hope the tests can provide some reassurance and that some of what you describe can be reversed. xx

Re: Halloween thursday

Well sitting here with my treats and only one group of callers so far. Got my trick treater welcome sign up

Yola on line training is mind-blowingly boring. Feel for you.

Shelley - I assume that you did not expect this; was it merely routine tests that have led them to this or was there a reason you went and then they started the tests?

Pamela Hope you have had a nice day.

Yola I am like you I wonder if I am storing up issues in the future. But think Gert gets me out and about more than I realise.

Re: Halloween thursday

Hi guys, how wonderful to see everyone coming back onto the forum It's great to hear from you all.
Shelley, sorry about your health scares. Hopefully the BP can be controlled with increased meds. All the very best for that kidney scan Do let us know. I'll be thinking of you.
Kazz, hope you managed to get the garden finished. We didn't get any trick and treaters here but it's not celebrated much in NZ.
Yola, that online training course does sound tricky but it might benefit you in the future. Hope it went well.
Pamela, hope you got all your snuffle mats made to get your orders out. That sounds like a good business you've got there.
I've got to say again that it's so great to see people on the forum again. It would be great to have another quiz night. I wasn't around when they were going but they looked like fun.

It's Friday night here and very warm. I can hear fireworks in the distance and my cats are frightened.Willow just lies snoring on the floor after a lovely tea of green tripe, chicken necks and beef. !!!

Hope everyone has a great night. Lots of love to all Catsey kitties and doggies.............Maggie.
