It's Wednesday

... and a Bank Holiday on Friday - so the week is thundering along!
Anybody doing anything exciting today? (she asked in a knowing sort of, "I think there might be news" way)
It's a nice enough day - typical April really, blue sky, white clouds, rain overnight but perfectly pleasant now.
No news here

No news here either... its blue sky and sunny with white clouds here as well.

Had a fire alarm test in work this morning had to go out in the cold and we were already running behind with getting things done before the shop opened! stress!

Gotta put petrol in my car in a bit but im scared coz a few days ago the petrol tank sort of slipped down ... like it was just hanging on by a thread. Ill see what happens.

Gonna go the pics tonight, dunno what to watch yet.

Have a nice day all.

Forgot to mention, my dad had ''fixed'' it for the time being... I have just put some petrol in it and it seems fine at the mo! I do hear noises from it when I break n going round corners etc lol.

Re: It's Wednesday

It's bright and intermitently overcast here. No rain though. I have a headache but as I've weaned myself off the addictive painkillers so am resisting taking anything for it. Stress and lack of sleep I think are the cause
Not much to report at all - just hoping for nice weather this weekend as we have the steam fair in town and I have much allotment planting to do; potatoes, carrots, parsnips, onions and beetroot!

Re: It's Wednesday

NOT a typical April day here; it is sunny but still much below normal, 6C, and the winds are howling, makes it feel much colder than it is. But we didn't get frost in the City last night, thank goodness! To the Safeway this morning to get a few things that were out of stock in my delivery order; planned to go to the hardware store for some white paint but such a long wait in the cold for the bus that I just came on home. Leia's back to her radiator cover; she doesn't like the cold windy porch.

Janey, I too don't like the story about your tank...think it needs looking at! Smudgley, hope it goes well at the hospital. Yola, you're going to be busy at the allotment I see. Nice that you'll all have a long weekend!

QUIZ tonight, 8 pm, Games, Jokes. All welcome!

Re: It's Wednesday

I'm last lap again but time is flying here, been a lovely day for the odd bit of spring cleaning to get done. Also took my mum to see a hospital consultant;she has had 2 angina episodes since the big heart attack last July but otherwise he's happy for her to continue her medication as it stands.

Another day off tomorrow then I'm workin all over Easter, mostly late shifts and nights, so no telly for me. I'm taping the three new Red Dwarf episodes on Dave to watch later.

Catch you all soon.
