Re: Are you a Collector?

I used to collect bird stamps and still have my collection. I think I started collecting them in my teens when I started birding.

I am impressed with your cat collection Elaine - they are lovely. I recognise some (1st photo) but can't think of the make!

Re: Are you a Collector?

I collect fridge magnets as well Mags, will take a pic of mine in the morning. My MIL is great at getting me them whenever she goes on holiday, and whenever anyone goes away somewhere I insist they bring me one back

Re: Are you a Collector?

My sister is like you Matron and Yola.

I however am a collector of - (think perhaps hoarder might be better description!)

Sheep/Horse/Cat/Dog/Otter ornaments
Books on any of the above plus Gardens/Plants and good novels
Fridge Magnets (I have quite a few)
Little Boxes (glass or stone less than 4" squ)

No batteries in camera just now (bet you all breath a sigh of relief)

Think I'll stop before it becomes too embarrassing!

Re: Are you a Collector?

Actually, if I were to collect anything it would be teacups and saucers. I did have several nice ones on display but they are now safely away in crockery cupboard out of the way of prying little hands!

Re: Are you a Collector?

Thanks, all. I've picked up nice teacups/demitasses at the flea market, yard sales and the junkier sort of antique shops. The one at the upper right in the first pic is the first one I ever bought; on my first trip as a young woman to New York!
