Don't mind them if I'm inside - big time lapse between thunder and lightening so it must be a fair bit away from us.

- not a pudding person, I like starter and main. OH likes main and sweet.

I have a sweet tooth - especially for chocolate.

Yes, that's my worst temptation. Someone gave me a C-word present of 6 months membership of the Chocolate Tasting Club. So interesting, but a big mistake really for me.

Nice present though.

Re: QUIZ - Wednesday 22nd September

CM, do you use a counting out saying to estimate how far away it is? Here, we say "one Mississippi, two Mississippi" to estimate... takes a second to say the phrase so if you get to 7 Mississippi it's 7 miles away ....

Yes, OK waiting for Shelley.

Well, we say 1 sheared sheep fleece, 2 sheared etc.

But my sister uses the Mississippi timing.

Re: QUIZ - Wednesday 22nd September

Speaking about rhymes - do you remember the song about the States of America that started "What did Delaware boy ...."

Can you remember what it was called and who sang it? [NOT PART OF THE QUIZ!!!]
