Sorry to hear that Smudgley - do you think you'll be able to fox proof the hen enclosure and get more? Adopt some ex-battery girlies?

The enclosure is fox proof, they have a big wooden shed, then a run made out of weld mesh panels for dog kennles which are buried into the ground & have a roof, problem was my daughter didn't put them in the pen,she locked the door but the hens were all in the garden.
We are going to burn the shed as it's old, don't think we'll get any more.
