Mitzi - our new kitten.

Hope you like the pics of my new kitten Mitzi.
Was not planning on getting another cat after my beloved Minke sadly suddenly passed away 2 years ago. Still had Molly and all my love went to her. However fate had other ideas!! Mitzi was born to a feral cat and there was absolutely no way that I could leave her to fend for herself, so that was decided then and she came to her forever home with me. Will update with more information on the other feral cat later.

Mitzi's First Home...

Molly and Mitzi (and my brand new leather suite!)

Molly and Mitzi in basket (after 1 week of being introduced to each other).

Mitzi just looking so cute!

Hope you enjoyed seeing Mitzi.

What a beautiful wee poppet you have there. Thanks for introducing her to us. I look forward to seeing loads more photos of her as she grows - I have a particular soft spot for wee tabbies!

Awwwww! What a gorgeous wee thing she is. I love the one with the two of them and the couch - shows just how small she is!

Thanks for sharing.

What an adorable little catlet; so tiny! Lovely to see the two cuddled up together. Thanks for sharing those.

She is absoloutely ADORABLE!

As one Mitzi prepares to leave this world after a long life, (my dear girl is also called Mitzi, she is also petite) another is just starting her journey.

Bless her, such a sweet pea.

Re: Mitzi - our new kitten.

Thank you for your lovely comments, I am biased she is sooo cute but very naughty!
Mitzi's Mum and how she came to be.

Mitzi's Mum (in the middle).

These 4 gorgeous cats turned up one day at my grandads house, wasn't sure at first if they belonged to anyone but they seemed to hang around in the back garden and slept in the outside loo (hole in door). Feeling sorry for them we started to feed them, although they do help themselves to the birds quite often. We soon realised that one of them was pregnant and so began the very long process of trying to get a cat rescue to help us trap and get them neutured. The pregnant cat went missing and was not seen for quite some time and we were quite concerned for her & kittens.
When she did return she only had one kitten, Mitzi.
In the meantime I came up against every obstacle that you could imagine in trying to get funding to neuter cats. One rescue wouldn't get involved if another rescue was helping. I wanted to bang my head against the wall, but I was like a dog with a bone!! Eventually with help of the most wonderful person called Ann (cat rescue volunteer), all the cats have now been neutered. Sadly they cannot be rehomed as they are feral and there are very long waiting lists for feral cats, or so I been told. I don't know what the future holds for them but I am so glad that I could help Mitzi.
