Just spoke to my sister and she went to Dudley zoo with Jack's special school a couple of years ago - as a parent helper and a lot of the parent she said were "uneasy" about the place.


Not sure if they complained but apparently they never went back as a school.

Thanks all for your nice comments.

I have taken up my concerns with the RSPCA today. I am not an overly sensitive person, but a couple of things I saw I didnt like. They are supposed to be visiting the Zoo within the next 48hrs, so i will fill you in on the details when I hear back from them. I expect they will have good excuses though!

Safari sounds ace! BUT it would have to be none Elephant, none Lion and none Rhino, BORING!!!

If they offered one that skipped the megafauna and concentrated on things like leopards, hyenas, did-diks, birds like the harpy eagles, storks and so forth that would be brilliant......

That Tiger is stunning they are my all time favourite animals. (probably why I take to tabbies so much)
