Christmas wrapping with cats

1.Clear space on table.
2. Go to wardrobe and collect bag in which presents are contained, and close door.
3.Open door and remove cat from wardrobe.
4.Retrieve wrapping paper from cupboard.
5.Go back and remove cat from cupboard
6.Go to drawer and collect sticky tape, scissors, labels, etc.
7.Lay out present and wrapping materials on table.
8.Go back to drawer to get string, remove cat from drawer.
9.Remove present from bag.
10.Remove cat from bag.
11.Open box to check present, remove cat from box, replace present in box.
12.Lay out paper.
13.Cut paper to size.
14.Throw away first sheet because cat tried to chase scissors and tore paper.
15.Cut second sheet of paper to size by putting cat in the bag the present came out of.
16.Place present on cut-to-size paper.
17.Chase cat down hall and retrieve ribbon.
18.Re-roll and smooth ribbon and remove now torn paper from table, due to cat's enthusiasm in chasing ribbon.
19.Repeat steps 12 - 19 until down to last sheet of paper.
20.Shut the blasted cat out!

Really great - completely apt, exact and well illustrated! I award Bentley and Chester a well deserved Oscar for their performances.

Re: Christmas wrapping with cats

Brilliant! That made me choke on my coffee LOL! It's so much fun trying to do anything with the cats "helping"!

Haven't started the Christmas wrapping yet, but will be doing so soon......should prove great fun! Miw loves to help me do it, just like described above LOL!

Not sure if Mousie will be so inclined to "help" as she had an "incident" with the tape dispenser in August when she "helped" wrap my son's birthday gifts........not sure if she'll have forgotten that yet! Took ages to remove the sticky tape she had managed to get wrapped around her LOL!

Great pics.....your boys DO look very helpful and like they have a great deal of fun with it! LOL!
